Avery & Greg | Groveland, MA | December 18, 2021

Avery and Greg are high school sweethearts, and more in love than they were when they were teens! I first met up with Avery and Greg in downtown Newburyport for their engagement session. I knew that they grew up in Newburyport, so when we were trying to decide where to take their engagement photos, I suggested downtown Newburyport and Avery excitedly said YES! Here’s a little sample before we get into their wedding day:

Ok, now onto the wedding day.

The day started with Avery, her mom and sister getting ready at her parents house in Newburyport. Avery’s sister was her hair and make up stylist that day, which made the day that must more personal. As we were taking some getting ready photos, my second shooter, Hannah, was at a nearby hotel with Greg as he got ready for the day.

Avery and Greg planned a beautiful and elegant wedding at Groveland Fairways. It was an icy and frigid day, but the snow and cold made the warm ceremony and reception room that much more welcoming.

Avery got ready in the bridal suite as her guests arrived and were greeted by Greg.

The ceremony at Groveland Fairways was lit by candlelight, and as intimate as you can imagine. They even had a live painter during the ceremony to commemorate the moment! After the first kiss, Avery and Greg stopped in the aisle to pull the tab on a special gift from Avery’s brother - a timer that goes on for decades so they always know how long they’ve been married, to the second.

After some chilly family portraits, Avery, Greg and their guests partied and drank all night to celebrate the newlyweds! And a special shout out to Avery and Greg that just recently welcomed their first baby :)
