If I had to choose a word for Colleen and Travis’ wedding at the Best Western Adam’s Inn in Quincy it would be: unexpected. I had never been to this location, and was skeptical about what a Best Western could offer for a wedding venue. Well, I was blown away by the location. A beautiful tent wedding, with a ceremony in the over-water gazebo that was later transformed into a dance floor. Some of my favorite images from the year came from Colleen and Travis’ wedding, and you can see why below!w
Colleen has lots of family in Ireland, and many of them made the trip to MA for her wedding! Just seeing them stroll in, I knew this was going to be a good party.
The ceremony was under the gazebo, overlooking the Neponset River. It was a come as you are, hit the bar kind of ceremony. Filled with laughs and stories!
Directly after the ceremony, we moved into bridal party and couple’s photos. It was a windy day, so the group met under the gazebo and then me, Travis and Colleen took off for some privacy during their couple’s photos.
Just as the sun was setting (peep that gorgeous sunset above!) Colleen and Travis entered their reception for dinner. The reception was held in a twinkle-light lit tent next to the gazebo, and guests were served a delicious buffet dinner. This crew was here to party - dinner couldn’t end quick enough. Soon, everyone headed back to the gazebo to dance all night. We even got a special treat seeing Colleen Irish Step Dance with some of her friends - a party I won’t soon forget. Congratulations Colleen and Travis!
